Our owner and seasoned horticulturalist, Morgan Castellow, brings a passion for putting the right plant in the right place, ensuring your landscape thrives and delights for years to come. From initial consultation to final construction, we manage every aspect of your project with utmost care, guided by our core values of quality, timeliness, and honesty. While we welcome design clients from anywhere, our construction services are currently focused within a 50-mile radius of our home base in Moultrie, Georgia including Thomasville, Albany, Tifton and Valdosta. Morgan and his team are committed to creating timeless gardens that entice participation and foster connections between people and the land they cherish.
MEET THE OWNER
Morgan Castellow, founder of Avery Outdoor Designs, spent his most celebrated years of childhood on his grandfather’s farmland in south Georgia; a place where his passion for nature and gardening first began. His love for the land lead him to earning a degree in Horticulture and Landscape Design from the University of Georgia. Upon graduating, Morgan began Avery Outdoor Design, a namesake of his late grandfather, Robert Avery.
Established in 2014, Avery is founded on Morgan’s enthusiasm for celebrating nature and creating timeless outdoor spaces. He is inspired by his travels around the world and strongly influenced by the land ethic which is a set of values based on caring for people, for land, and for all the connections between them.
Morgan is married to his wife of 10+ years, Amanda, and has four children. Outside of work, he is devoted to giving his family every opportunity to get out and connect with nature. His favorite activities are swimming in natural springs, kayaking North Florida rivers, fishing, cycling, hiking, camping, frog gigging, to name a few.

Fill your space with the soothing sounds of water. Avery Outdoor Design builds swimming pools using David Butler’s bubble flow system. Natural pools work entirely with nature to provide hygienic water for swimming. The benefits range from being chemical-free to promoting wildlife habitat.
